Remember, remember, the 24th of November, when SheZai ties the knot, after 6 years and 8 months of being together. It's a smooth ride. Alhamdulillah. More pictures will be up soon. We're just back from Honeymooning! Bliss! After all that jazz. =) I know Hon will be blogging soon, right Hon? Mwahs! I can wake up to see your face every morning now. Lovely.

It's funny. I don't feel stressed when i woke up this morning. Must be the good foam pillow my mom asked to sleep on... I need a good massage on my stiff shoulders. iPamper will do just fine. Throngs of people will be flooding the hall soon, helping with the preparations. The gifts have been decorated. Quite simply I should say. Mom woke up extra early to work the kitchen into its 'normal' kawin-kawin state of frenzy. I'm gonna be Zaini's wife. And so it's tomorrow...... *thump thump thump*

I want to play a game.

It's true. Me and Hon love going to the movies to catch the latest gore (romance movies bore us). Recently, we caught Unrest and SAW 4 (before it officially opened, we can't wait!) . And damn are we so excited about the latter. 'Unrest' is considered boring to us, the typical storyline with totally bad sound effects. Even if they use real dead bodies, what's the biggie? The flow is so obvious. Now, Saw 4 is awesome!! We are such HUGE fans of the Saw movie. Similar to the rest of the mind-boggling Saw trilogy, we watched in excitement as we await what more gore Saw 4 can bring us. And true enough, blood spouting, insides overturned, hair torn apart, limbs scattered, eyes gored out, stomach-churning classic g-o-r-e. Beautiful. Even after the movie, we walked and talked for 1 hour about the twisted Saw 4 ending. Jigsaw is so brilliant. Even after his death, they found a tape in his stomach, and the twisted game continues in this movie. The game has not ended, in fact, it has just begun. The show also tells of how Jigsaw becomes how he is, which i find quite justified. We are so gonna watch the movie again.

Hon even wants to buy the doll of Jigsaw riding his tricycle!


And to top all that off, news on the grapevine said that Saw 5 and Saw 6 are in the works end of this year, releasing in 2009!

Celebrations

Raya this year seems to fly by at a very fast speed for us. Maybe because in the midst of all that praparations, we still have to put in some time for work, planning, meeting up with our wedding runners, and also put in some time for each other, which is the most important one of all.

It's the time of forgiveness-seeking and non-stop cake-and-dishes-tasting. When you seek forgiveness, you have to dig deep into your heart and soul and let out whatever ill-feeling, gunk of gibberish, hatred, wrong-doings or sin you have done upon each other for the year. You also have to repeat the same lines to each and every person you meet in every house you go to. Like in a script. Keep repeating until that person gives in and forgives your wrongdoings. Like as in 'Earn-a-green-packet-day' campaign or whatever. i.e. exhibit A below.

And when THAT is done, It's all good.
Mom and Dad have been very very busy distributing out the wedding invitations. They are the most wonderful gems in my life. Speaking of which, once these go out, it's a done deal. No turning back now. *which i don't ever intend to, when i have the man of my dreams becoming my husband soon*. I'm all smiles , excited, happy, etc. A thousand and one feelings all rolled into one.
And so whenever we go visiting, the little toddlers and babies will always always always get the most attention and limelight. They will also be the loudest. And hold out their hands in anticipation and eagerness in getting their money collection.

Then there'll be the next group of "grown-up toddlers" who will clan up in groups and share endless stories and views of school, life and also, the PSP which is all the rage this raya among them. P.S. I declare myself in this clan, Give me some credit aight, as it'll be the last time i get to be named as a grown-up toddler. Next year, God knows. I'll be sitting down with the elders discussing cooking recipes, tips in cleaning the kitchen, how to handle a baby and all those educational 'Discovery' channel - no, Suria and Sensasi channel- things. No more 'MTV' channel for me. Save me!

And with a heavy heart, I say, its a Monday again tomorrow. WORK like a Dog, Baby. My workstation looks like a fire hazard. Stressed just looking at it. *dragggggyyyyyy Monday dawning tomorrow* Can i live a simple life?

My Sister the Bridesmaidofhonour, Me and Hon

Yes Hon, It's getting nearer and nearer. And It IS exciting, sometimes overwhelming too, with all the planning we made, yea. I bet you must be as nervous as I am. Within the hustle and bustle of all that planning that mounts up only to a couple of days, the main reason is 'I love you Dear'.

As the day draws nearer each day, we're taking it cool. Most of the preparations are done.
Except for some here and theres. We have longed for and dream to go to Anantara Chiang Rai for our honeymoon but alas, all the flights are fully booked on the dates we liked. That will not dampen our spirits, though. We'll source for other options, yea hon? Anantara will always wait for us next year. =)

These are the people we want to thank in advance. Mount Faber is a beautiful place. Went there to exchange ideas for the wedding with our honourables. Behold the mini merlion. Now, how do we pose with this thing? Ok, you go here, i go there. Set?

Practically the pictures just best describe how much I love my job (despite the stress level.. haha)To make things more interesting for me, They have assigned me to be Nike Running Ambassador. Which means more product info for me to learn & relay to the other team as well & on the healthy level side, my trainer has prepared runs for the ambassadors. Did an 8km last thursday & a 5km today together with other athletes.
Elite ones I must say! haha Anyways its the experience that counts.

On the other brighter side, the wedding plans has been good so far. Pressure starts to come in as the day nears but we're just taking it well. Its kind of nervous but yet very exciting yes hun? haha

No Work, No Pay. No Pay, No Play.

I can't contain my excitement no more. I'm so freaking excited! On my long journey to work, my mind played games with me. It wanders to a near galaxy filled with satin and lace and kain kain deco and baju kahwin kahwin and imagining peoples' familiar faces smiling and grinnning back at us as we walk down the isle. With the accompaniment of the music from the earphones in my ears, i just can't stop thinking! Thinking about the day. Then *pop*, the realities hit me hard.

Preparations are halfway done. Still more ideas flowing as they suddenly pop out of nowhere in my head. We have yet to search for a honeymoon destination. We have yet to.

One dreaded thing has kept us far far away from spinning the wedding ideas wheel :- Work.

This season of Rahsia Perkahwinan has a little touch of flava in it, though the acting is still quite awkward. Interesting storyline. Catchya laters. Oh and Welcome to our blog, 10,000th visitor.

Baeem & Zizi Ties the Knot

Friday Evening was enchanting at their wedding dinner. The place looks beautiful. Ambience perfect. The married couple looks magnificent indeed.

Saturday's lunch reception spells mmm mmm splendid. Baeem & Zizi look perfect. The flower girls are so cute esp the one sitting down second from left.


Oh my. 2 more months and counting.
And we already look so tired, drowned in multi-tasking preparations, work, life,
And also making time for each other w/o bringing in the stress.
Weddings are never easy. Trust me on that.

These words seem to ring endlessly in our ears......."You're Next!"
