Our 4th Honeymoon - Bali !!

Lush and languid, Bali beguiles with its beach-side charms. It all started when I decided to have an adventurous getaway with Hon right after my last day at work. We have been to Phuket and Redang which is abundant in colourful marine life and luxurious villas for the ultimate relaxation. Thus this time, we yearn for something more exciting and bold, a totally different kind of holiday which will bring out the thrill-seekers in us both. The next 3 days of really quick planning, we have booked and paid for our Bali package at a really good deal. Everyday, I look forward to my last day at work. When it came, i was utterly ecstatic! We packed and reached Changi Airport at 5am in the morn the next day. Our flight was at 7 am with Garuda.

Day 1 - Arrival and Shopping !!

We landed safely at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar Bali. It was the start of our 4 day adventure and we are thrilled! A guide named Mahar greeted us with a warm smile as he held on to a placecard with our names on it. Immediately, we felt at ease as he explained to us that he will be our official private tour guide for the next day. We made plans with him to have a cultural immersion day on Day 2 of our trip. And of course whitewater rafting on Day 3 and sea-sports on Day 4. Our days are packed with activities. The van took us both to our hotel in Legian Bali which is very near Kuta, the hustle and bustle of Bali. We stayed at the All Seasons Legian. Comfy and clean, like a boutique hotel.

After unpacking and a quick nap, the itenerary for Day 1 was rather laid back. We decided to go shopping and explore the busy area of Kuta. We took a cab, which was really cheap at 5000 Rupiah as the starting meter price, all the way to Discovery Shopping Centre. It was less busy as compared to the shopping in Singapore. We took our time to 'discover' what we could buy at a bargain. Note that there were not many tourists at all and it was quite quiet for a shopping centre. Kuta Beach was just nearby and surfers in board shorts and bikinis walked around the shopping centre like it wasn't their business to put some clothes on. We had lunch at A&W, Shopped some more and had a free dinner at Hard Rock Cafe! Our kind agent provided us with free dinner vouchers and they were surely worth it.

On the streets of Kuta

Fish Burger at A&W. Wholemeal bread or what!

Can't miss the Root Beer Float.

Our Lunch

Near Kuta Beach

Hon and NIKE shops in Kuta

Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. A band was playing.

We got these free.

That was the end of Day 1, time flies by fast. A nice laid back day, for sure. The weather was hot in the day and rained most nights. By that time, we were back at our hotel to just chill and surf the channel. They do have broadband with all sorts of channels. We got 15 mins of free massage each but we decided to forego that as we're not really into spa-ing this time.

Day 2 - Cultural Immersion Day

On the second day, Mahar fetched us at 9am for our private tour of Bali. We went to Ubud, Uluwatu, Denpasar, Sanur, Kuta, Kintamani and Seminyak. As Mahar's knowledge of the island is absolutely vast, we learned a lot from him. From the structure of the Balinese houses and temples to the history and legend of the characters and ancestors. It was a learning experience. The morning saw us discovering temples and typical Real Balinese houses. But first, we witnessed a Barong Dance/Play in Sanur.

Next, we visited a Batik Painting Gallery in Ubud. Their intricate designs are gorgeous. I can't believe how good their art is. Or how patient they are in weaving a single thread to make a 2 metre cloth. Oh well, their pace of life is of course different. We bought Batiks for our moms to make Baju Kurungs. =)

Moving forward, we visited a real Balinese house. The Grandmother is cooking the day's meal as the men and children of the house have gone to work and school respectively. Their house is open concept and you can see how the structure of their houses are like bungalows. They live a simple life.

The pic on the left is one of the bedrooms. The bed is just surrounded by curtains, so if the couple wanna get it on or something, there really is no privacy. Hehe! The one on the right shows how many people lived in the house and the name of the head of household. This is made compulsory by the government to be put up outside every house in Bali.

The temple within the compounds. The ashes of their ancestors are thrown into the sea and a deity replaces them in these monuments.

More pictures of palaces and temples we visited. Along with an art gallery whose paintings are done by the locals. They are really very impressive. It was said that a French painter spread his art influences to Bali as their drawings were once of people and Barongs only. We had lunch at Ubud too and the scenery was breath-taking. Padi fields lined the horizon and the people are hard at work. The air is cooler in Ubud compared to Kuta due to the highlands. We managed to catch a highly stylized Legong Dance performed by 2 young girls at the restaurant. Amidst the lush greenery, we were having the ultimate relaxation, mind free from worries back home.

Tucking in to lunch amidst the Padi Fields.

Balinese Food. Ayam Berkakak with Rice and Soto Ayam. The taste is very different from Singapore dishes.

The sacred place of the temple. Majority of Balinese are hindus and temples are scattered everywhere. And I mean Everywhere! They hold dearly to their religion but have racial and religious harmony based on community involvement and respect. They also believe that Barong (the stone carving of the creature guarding every house and place) will ward off evil spirits.

We have to wear sarongs to step into this sacred temple. Archeologically speaking, the temple ruins date back to the 18th century.

We made our way to Uluwatu next to see the Kechak Dance, a ritual dance created in the early 1930's which combined the chorus of the "Sanghyang" trance dance with a story from the "Ramayana" legend. Very impressive with its circular chorus of sometimes over 100 bare chested male singers.. Characters in costumes appear along the way to act out the scenes of the tale. The background of the scene is when the sun is setting so the view is fabulous! It was a magnificent experience. We had to walk along a cliff to get to the performance stage. There were wild monkeys along the way and they were really viscious! They will steal your camera, sunglasses and what nots. You have to bribe them with food to get your precious belongings back! Clever bastards.

The Kechak Dance "Live"! View our video-take below for a real live experience brought back from Bali itself! What you see is what you get. Hear how they use their voices for rhythm and beats. Kindly turn off the imeem blog music on the left panel first before you press play on the video to your left. It's real funny too! This is only 30 seconds of the 1 hour chant/play that they did.

These are pictures taken during and after their performance. A funny lot of bunch these guys are, haha! They are such talented people! And friendly at that too!!

Day 2 ended with free dinner at the hotel. (vouchers courtesy from our tour agent) And then back to our room with mind filled with knowledge and history and awaiting what's next tomorrow. We turned in early because we had to be ready by 8am the next morning for.. what else? Whitewater rafting!!!!! The reason why we came to Bali in the first place!!

Day 3 - Whitewater Rafting at Telaga Waja, Bali.

The thrilling Telaga Waja adventure begins in the foothills of the sacred Mount Agung, after an in-depth safety and equipment briefing by our experienced guide. From the time we experienced the drop into the first set of rapids, our hearts are already racing and adrenalin pumping.

They have Class IV rapids as the fastest and boy i think that isn't enough for us both. Haha! Hon kept on paddling the boat to go faster even though the guide said Stop! Cheeky Boy! It was only us 2 on the boat and we had the guide all to ourselves. Absolutely Marvellous and breath-taking! Time stood still as the boat glides rapids after rapids while we take in the magnificent view.

Over head obstacles, narrow gorges and breathtaking views of terraced rice plains all along the way will gave us an appetite for our final challenge! The Water Dam! A 4 metre drop into the waters down below!!! We survived it, and wanted more!! Too bad we do not have that picture. The experience will remain in our hearts.

The best fun ever!!!!!

Waterfalls!

Home - Survivor style. Free Lunch at the top after all that rafting. We had to climb up the hills to get here. Almost 100 steps. But it was well worth it.

Beautiful View for Lunch.

And that was the end of our whitewater rafting experience. We headed back and wanted to rest but we got a message from the reception that our flight back was brought forward from 8pm to 3pm. Dang! 5 hours earlier!!?!? They cancelled the night flight due to insufficient passengers or technical problems or whatsoever! So we had to decide on change of plans pronto. Instead of resting, we went shopping! We ain't got no more time for that on our last day!! We took a pic at the 2002 bombing site monument. And while Hon was shopping for his 'Supreme' bag at a skate shop, the lights suddenly went off. We were in utter darkness! We realised that the whole street had a blackout. Shops were pitch dark. Everybody went outside and waited by their shops. We sat by the pavement while waiting half an hour for the lights to come back on. It was scary shit.

When we returned to our hotel, we had a pasta buffet dinner. It was superb as nobody else was around and we had the trays all to ourselves. We settled in for the night as the next morning, we again had to wake up early for our seasports activities.

Day 4 - Sea Sports Galore!!!!!

We headed to Nusa Dua where there are many many sea activities to do. The manager was nice and gave us a really good price just because we can speak their language. hehe. *Winks* We were treated with such meticulate service! We even had our pics taken by their more than willing staff. We had 4 activities. Parasailing for me. Wakeboarding for Hon. Flyfish and ProMable for us both. Here we are bargaining and discussing the activites. The first thrill was the Flyfish, a newly created seasport for 2 pax. The instructor will be seated in the centre to steer the Flyfish. We were laying face up on the tube holding on to the handles for our dear lives. There were no straps to us. Only handles. As you can see from the following pics, we were airborne for a few minutes!! Facing backwards!!! Haha! Thrilling indeed!

My thrilling Parasailing experience. I went really high up in the air for an aerial view of Nusa Dua! The wind was amazingly strong too. I survived this in one piece and raring to go again soon.

Next was this tube called Pro-Mabel. We sat on this tube and just held on to the handles for our dear freaking lives as the speedboat pulled on the rope attached to it. The tube went zig-zag all the way and i bet you if you once let go of the handle, you will be thrown 1 metre out into the sea. It was THAT fast and fantastic. Very bumpy too as it glides on the surface of the waves.

Next is Wakeboarding for hon. Hon managed a few tries and he said that it was a good experience. It is quite difficilt to get up when you are donned in a life jacket. In the end, the guide showed us how it's done. He did jumps and stunts and all.

And so that is the end of our seasports activities. It lasted the whole morning. We reached our hotel by 1pm and the front desk was kind enough to hold our rooms until we have had our bath. We had a quick rush and packed and reached the airport by 2pm. As seen below the beach is really clean and the water is so clear too. But the most amazing thing is, the water isn't that deep at all!!! At most 2 metres even though far out. The manager even served us free (again) lunch of nasi padang. It was the best hospitality ever. We might have done even more if not for our change of flight.

When we reached the airport, we were shocked to learn that our flight at 3pm with Garuda was overbooked and we do not have seats. They wanted to transfer us to another Garuda flight business class with transit in Jakarta for 3 hours but we rejected that. We asked if there were any other options and after much negotiation, they kindly transfered us to Singapore Airlines at around 4pm. We did not have to pay a single cent for this transfer as it was the airline's fault. Such good luck for us. Once we reached home, we ate at the staff canteen as we seriously longed for Singapore food. Reminiscing the days we had at Bali, we will for sure go again, definitely. The hospitality of the country itself is heart-warming. They have asked to spread the word that it is indeed safe to go to Bali. The country depends largely on its tourism economy. It is such a pity that the execution incident deemed it unfit to go there. But rest assured, SheZai had the best time of our lives there. Feel free to leave your comments or e-mail us. It would be swell if there are any sponsors out there who will give holidays in return for a blogging review. Hahaha! But Hey, these are just dreams.

We are now gearing up for our Standard Chartered 10Km Marathon next 2 weeks. But before that, it is Hon's Birthday next week!! Let's see what we have up our sleeves for that!! Stay tuned, SheZai readers!

You'd probably think that i was juvenile, But I think that I deserve to smile

I have blogged this on my Multiply to share with my close friends, but I think now, I'm ready to share it with the world.

In my whole 26 years of my life, I keep asking myself, what is my purpose in life? What is my goal? What is my motive for living in this world? The answer never came to me. In fact, if it did, it came to me through little teeny bits and pieces of other people's lives. You learn and get influenced through your friends, your relatives and everybody around you. They say that this is good for you, that is bad for you... and you listened. You listened attentively and followed suit with every single advice given. You climbed up the ladder only to reach a tunnel where there is no light at the end. You climbed up the ladder for the sake of climbing up the ladder and force yourself to accept that purpose in life. To make those around you and close to your heart happy. To make them realise the fact that you are well-worth it and can handle the job so pain-stakingly handed to you. (They meant well. No doubt about that. And I thank them with all my heart.) So you keep on walking and walking and walking, but at the end of the day you hit "The Wall". Are you going to climb over that wall? Or are you going to turn around and keep on walking the same dark path you have been taking every single day? You see, I was that girl. The girl who have been walking and climbing every single day, only to be frustrated at myself for being clueless in search for that light at the end of the tunnel. I just don't see it. Suddenly it dawned upon me that if the opportunity arose, would I be courageous enough to climb over "That Wall"? AND I FINALLY DID.

Let me get to the point. After graduation, I worked in a bank and gained enough experience to climb up. Then a superb opportunity arose when I landed a job through referral in a huge MNC. In one year, my pay increased through good performance. I was flying high. However, monetary gains did not cloud my eyes. I was still searching for what I thought could give me job satisfaction and fulfillment. And this stressful job is NOT it. I go home stressed every single day. Sometimes to the verge of crying and bawling out to my husband (who is a very understanding guy). Everyday my mood was dampened, everyday I sulked and had this feeling of depression, as low as any heart could go. I go to bed everynight with a dreadfully heavy sigh. Only to wake up the next morning and go through the same dreary monotonous shit (aka walking that path to that wall) all over again. I start to question myself,"Do I want to obediently work a 9 to 5 job only to become a Big Boss with a 9 to 9 job in the future and struggle my way to retirement which I will not even know of my life expectancy?" I keep on telling myself, just do it for the money! You will never get this salary anywhere else! Enjoy the things you can buy with all the money! Soon, it became like a routine. I was in a box I could not step out of.

So one day, I asked myself. I asked my heart and did some soul searching. Am I WILLING to give up this job, take the risk and plunge into a totally different line. A new beginning. A new start. And the answer is YES. I did some research on childcare education, a course of life I have always wanted to dive into but did not have the guts to. I went online, took down notes, went for childhood education seminars, read up brochures, asked friends, to learn more about this line. And i got my answer. I went for a second interview today and got a job as an early childhood educator apprentice as well as take up a diploma teaching course at the same time (fully sponsored by the childcare centre provider) and the pay is based on my degree, which is not bad at all! Who cares if it is 2/3 of what I am earning now? A job in which i know I am interested in, and a job which I know I can find peace and fulfillment and satisfaction in my life. A job which I know will pique my interest to the best of my ability. So that now, I can come home smiling, happy and ultimately fulfilled.

Next month, my hubby will also start his Retail Diploma course and together, i will start my childhood diploma course end of this month. Both us SheZai will be going back to school la!!! We'll be back to the ol' skool days of BF~GF romance, holding hands. Haha! Since both of us do not own a car yet (or even license for that matter), do not own a house yet, do not have any children yet, I'd rather take the plunge now when the time is right rather than look back 10 years down the road and regret Not making this move.

Am I pure silly or just brave? I think the latter.

Five simple rules for Happiness:
1. Free your heart from hatred
2. Free your mind from worries
3. Live simply
4. Give more
5. Expect less

P/S: And Mima, It's not that, hehehe! But if it was, you'll be one of the firsts to know ok!
P/S: And Jihan, Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
P/S: And Honey, You are the most understanding and loving husband a wife could ever ask for. Can't wait for our Bali Honeymoon this week! Let's unwind...... *kisses*

Its All About Having Fun!

The event that we've been waiting for has finally arrived & done. Kanye did a superb showcase. I can only think of more positive words to describe his performances than negatives. Not only from us, but for most of my friends that went to his concert. It's my first time going to a concert. Be it how big or small the event is, it was worth the waiting & standing. Trust me when I mentioned waiting & standing cause the event was supposed to start at 8pm & usually would end like 10pm latest. So when we reached at 7pm, we met Corey first & had some light snacks before entering the queue. The door opened at 730pm & we quickly rushed in to get the best view. At first we're like the 5th row from the front but when the event starts, we're being squashed to the first 2 rows & that's like 4-5 metres away from Kanye! (Thanks for the push guys, haha) Anyway I've to admit also, for a first timer like Corey & myself, standing from 730pm - 9pm was no joke & that too was just waiting minus the show. So when the show starts from 9pm till about 11pm, it was all about the shouting, singing & dancing. As for me, other than those 3 acts mentioned, I've been busy snapping pics & recording video! haha We're not supposed to but hey how many times can you get to see him. I've got about 8 videos (songs) of him Live in my Mac now! haha Wouldn't upload it cos the sound was not so perfect but not the quality though. Can't blame me though cause it was quite hard to record with the pushing, singing & dancing around! It'll just be for Shezai eyes & memories for now, haha. After the concert ended, our knees were like super-jelly & our back aches like hell. It was a real first time experience for me especially but why should I complain right? He's one of my favorite artist & Hun surprised me with this special tickets! While we're having supper at McDonalds after that we're like discussing if only the next artistes that we'll most definitely go will be Justin Timberlake & Pharrell Williams! Hope our dream will come true, ahha. Once again, Thanks dear for the tickets!

Anyways, October was also a good month for my work! We've retain the Nike Art & Science Award! Quite unexpectedly but I must say that it's not easy. I've always told them that winning any award is easy but retaining or maintaining the standard will be a huge challenge but no one told them that it's not impossible & they proved it right! Congratulations again to us again guys! We deserved this & we'll get the goodies again soon!

Apart from the postitive side, I've also had to bid our goodbye to one of our Fillipino attachment student, Jonalyn. You've been a great help to the team & we really had fun working with you. Hope you learnt alot from us & also wish you all the best for the future & graduate from your school soon with flying colors! (We won't forget about you & will fly your Nike goodies soon yea)

Gearing up for our 4th Honeymoon Getaway

It has been a splendid close-to-1 year marriage and I am looking forward to more years to come. With Hon by my side, I know I can achieve anything, any adventures which we will explore together, any dreams and any goals in our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Happy 7 Years 7 Months Honey!
Apart from our Kanye West Concert next week, we are gearing up for our next mini-Honeymoon!
Our 4th one at that. Getaway just for the both of us again. I'm excited all over again. Breaking away from the sedentary lifestyle is essential to us. Engaging in activities together with your loved one makes the relationship and connection stronger. Just how many of us adapt and accept the normal routine life every single boring day?

For the wife: Wake up, prepare breakfast, go work, stress up, reach home, cook dinner, eat, go online, watch TV, sleep.
For the hubby: Wake up, eat, go work, stress up, reach home, eat, go online, watch TV, sleep.
Repeat Mode: ON

Society has accepted this as the norm. We need to break away from this norm once in a while. Life is not all just about sludging your life away for money. (Money to pay debts/loans/retirement fund). Life is so much more than that and you live only once! Is your goal in life all about repaying bank/housing/reno loans which you have taken up to impress others? No! OK i sound like some hyperactive Aggie. Haha!
Basically the gist is.... Live life to the fullest!

I did some research on where to go for our Getaway and boiled down to a few choices. But whatever option/country we decide on, I hope Hon is game on for these!!!
White water r/afting and Sea W/alking!

OR

Lovin' the blog song. =)

On another note, Hon and I caught our all-time favourite SAW V yestermidnight and we can't get enough! We want to watch SAW VI immediately but know we have to wait for next year sadly. Oh damn. I find Jigsaw super-intriguing! This episode is a tad easier to understand but although it is R21 rated, there is NOT ENOUGH GORE!!!! We want more Gore!! Saw 3 and 4 i guess is bloodier and gorier than the 5th instalment. However, both me and Hon are still loving that gut-wrenching, blood-spewing, bone-crunching action. We just can't stop talking about the movie! It's just so mind-boggling! We are super huge fans!!! And I am going to buy all 6 movie posters of SAW and put it up in our future house. Hahaha! Oh and I asked Hon to set my ringtone to the SAW theme. Obsessed or what!

**Even more photos from Hari Raya**

It was a terrific day out where all of Hon's friends and their partners were present. We covered up to 10 houses in a day. Accomplished that and it was no rush nor hassle at all. Everything was quite relaxed and fun! I got home with a runny nose and Hon got an upset stomach. Guess it must be all those gassy drinks!

*More Photos from Hari Raya*

It's just the photo craze that's everywhere. I guess everybody thinks that the Malay traditional costume looks good on everybody! I had to bear with the 'gatal-ness' of this baju the whole day. Lace, sequins, the works.. uuaaarrkkhh! When the feeling creeps up on you and you feel like just shredding the whole baju off like hulk. The price of looking nice.

Me and HoneY!

Ok, I think I see more Hari Raya photos coming up again soon. You'll get bored, really.

Selamat Hari Raya to all our readers!

First of all, I'd like to thank Hon for dedicating the blog song to me. I melted listening to the lyrics, Dear. That is absolutely very sweet of you. *Pinch cheeks* =)

This year is the first year that we celebrated this special occasion as husband and wife. It feels fabulous! When I wanted to 'minta maaf' with Hon, I salam him and say out what I had in mind. Then I started laughing, then he started laughing.. Sooo kaku! Hahahah! After i say, "Hon, forgive me for all the sins and wrong I have done unto you. etc etc....", he said," Ala so far got nothing one lah, I very happy with you." hahaha! Hon, Hon.... *Hugggss* Sungguh aku cinta kamu!

In the 'modern room', a term coined by Phique. We only have 1 senget self-taken timer family photo in this room... We look like we are sliding down the carpet.. Weeeee.

We stumbled upon this purple van at our void deck. And no, it is not ours. We took a pic wit it just cause, it's matching our purple kampong theme. haha!

If people don't know us, they would've thought we are brother and sister, right?

Foolin' around in the car. Happy, elated, excited.

Mommy, Me & Phique.

Me, cousin Aisyah and Phique

Our cousins, me and Phique

We wanted to take more pictures with everybody, but they have all gone visiting their elders. Hope to have a chance next time they visit us.

Phique, Mira and Me. Do we look like sisters?

On another note, this Raya is the first time that I did not cry when i salam my Dad. Instead, i feel so happy and relieved that the 'acceptance stage' is now over and forever gone! Know why? Because me and my 'then-boyfriend-now-husband' is now legal and there will be no more Kanchiong meet-ups at the taxi stand!!! Wahaha!!! Those who know, know.

Instead, this year, I cried when i salam my mother-in-law. I really respect her from Day 1 I became her daughter-in-law. She marks the epitome of such a strong mother to Zaini, and now me. Loving and caring all the way without any double standards. I love both my moms.

And lastly, we would like to wish all our friends, relatives and blog-readers a Selamat Hari Raya. Forgive us if the words spewed from our humble blog have caused any discomfort or disdain. Have a happy one on this joyous occasion! -From SheZai

Royal Purple It Is ..

We managed to get our Baju Kurungs at last yesterday within 2 hrs at Geylang. We're kind of amazed how we can pull it off cos we tried it on past Sunday but couldn't so. Perhaps its the massive crowds that irritates us & also 'The Laws Of Attraction'. Yesterday crowds was so-so at first but it got quite busy as time went by. We did manage to try & try till we're satisfied & funny thing was, it's the first shop that both of us tried before that we ended up buying our Baju Kurungs.

Anyways, I'd like to dedicate this blog song to Hun.
(I don't normally listen to malay songs that often haha but you know why I chose this song ';P)

See what I mean Hun? The Makcik was damn right, ';D

Happy Monthvesary Hun!

Hun really surprised me with the pass to Kanye's concert & it will be my very first concert I'll ever attend to. Hun has always been a fan of going to concerts. In fact she ever went alone to a concert, of course that is before we knew each other. Once again I'd really love to thank you honey!

Anyways, Shezai's going to settle our Hari Raya 'thingy' by before this weekend, starting today. Since I'm on off for today & tomorrow, We'll be heading to Geylang after breaking our fast at Vivo later on to get our baju raya. We're not going to break fast at Geylang again as the food was So-So & the queue was bloody long. Simply not worth it. I'm not so good at choosing Baju Kurung & Hun has always tailored hers every year. Since this year our schedule are very tight, we're going to buy. I'm going for a very simple plain color which will be either green, royal purple or red. Hun will not get the exact color but a nice shade of my tone will be nice furthermore we've never worn same color before anyway. So good luck to us searching for the clothes cos we'll have to go through the 'Ketupat Sumbats', 'Muka Dengdengs' & the newly additions 'Super Young Mums/Parents' while in the bazaar/Katong/Joo Chiat.

T-shirt, short with slipper is what I'm going to wear. Wore jeans on Sunday & practically I can't stand the heat & I get irritated easily.

On the other hand, My mum has been busy making the kuihs/cakes with the help of my Aunt. She made kuih tart & macaroons for Hun's family while 2 versions of choc chips & biskut telur are specially for me! Yum Yum!

Ok then, laters!

Surprise Honey!!!

Dear Honey,

As simple as the words 'I Love You' i declare to you each and every single day, I have never regretted being on this boat of emotions with you, ever. We have been together for 7 years 5 months 19 days. Yes I am obsessed like that. 2 more months to our 1st year marriage anniversary and I want it to be a blast. I am grateful and blessed indeed that our relationship is rock solid, surprised by the fact that we never never at all had a volcanic argument to date. And for that I thank you.

I look forward to wake up every single day to hear your contagious laughter, listen to your sound advice, feel your warm hugs and look into your charming eyes. Each day is an exciting new day with you as I can never tell what zany ideas and delirious thoughts we always have in mind. Our love is like exploring a whole new world of endless possibilities. And for that I thank you.

I have always appreciated how you always work so hard for me, for our families, and I can see a bright future ahead of you. You have proven so many people wrong. In fact, WE have proven so many people wrong. =) I am proud of that. And for that I thank you. And I think you deserve this ......

Wonder how your 'Prince Day' is gonna be like next month?

Rainy Weather Food

This was a while back even before Ramadhan, but it was my first try at Macaroni chicken soup. It's a throw-throw kinda recipe so I anyhow throw the ingredients inside the dish also. Haha. Luckily it turned out well and the whole family enjoyed it until every drop. Just an idea if you wanna break your fast to this in the cold and rainy weather.
